Working with acrylics and palette knives, Jeena Chatrani captures the likeness of her subjects in vivid textures and breath-taking atmosphere that makes it difficult not to be inspired by the majesty of her work. Jeena has sold paintings all over the world, from South America, Europe, the USA — and of course at home in Barbados.
Jeena also uses her art as a force for change, having raised over $150,000 USD for various charities since the start of her career in 2015. Using turtles as a frequent subject of her paintings, Jeena donates 10% of all sales to the Barbados Sea Turtle Project and in 2016, her portrait of Sir Garfield Sobers raised $130,000 USD for the Sandy Lane Charitable Trust.
The portrait now resides in the Cricket Legends Museum after being gifted to Sir Garfield himself.
